Motivation ...Motivation...Wow, I need to get sketching. The same three
deer have been running on my easel for a few days now. It's time they ran away! Will get a couple sketches done today
~ and hopefully have something to show by tomorrow. Lise

Blogger BluesHi Everyone,
I didn't get a chance to do any
sketching yesterday because my two son's were in the OBA championship games ~a MUST attend event. They did very well ~
both having personal best games. Then I slept for 12 hours.
Now I'm fiddling with the Website features here
~ an adventure in itself. I'm getting the hang of it - sortof. I've now included links to my Big Filly Adventures
ETSY page ~ where you can find some of my works for sale, and where
paypal is accepted. (should make things a bit easier).

Works in Progress...OK ~ Well ou may have noticed a 'new look' about
here. Apparently my home page layout was not working for me ~ so I've been playing around with different templates Of
course Tia's favourite colours are 'pink and baby blue' so I thought this one would work. That and it seems to
be more supportive of the "space" around my blogging ~ I can use the two columns easier.
Now if I was
technologically inclined I'm sure there is a way to do anything, but ~ alas working with this 'easy method' is
taxing enough my computer ability. So I will stick to my stories and art. Hopefully this works.
Anyway, check
out Tia's TMI experience on the latest adventure. Poor thing! So much to learn about the world ~ not all nice. Growing
up has its bumps doesn't it?
She still has her innocence, thought. that's what I love about her.
That's
it for today. Still haven't chosen a FARM NAME for the stories, hint hint!

OH DEER~!!!OK ~ I was up a bit late last night. I think I am enjoying this
illustrating a bit too much. Yesterday was all about deer. I am going to HAVE to go spend time with my BIG
filly today. She's getting impatient. The T~net has been buzzing lately, so I'd better get at some grooming, riding
and general fussing over Tia. I need a whole card full of pics for my next blog story. It's all in my head ~ just need
the pictures. She's probably grown 2 inches since I've last seen her. I
am about half way through the illustrations for this book. It's getting to the exciting part. I can't wait!!! If you

Name Names Names...Hi Everyone, I am really enjoying working on the illustrations.
It's SO exciting. Every time I work on a new character I feel like I'm bringing something into the world. I know ~
probably sounds corny ~ BUT IT"s TRUE!!!. Last night I was working on the little mouse character (not giving away any
names) and I was just tickled as his persoanlity emerged out of my pastels. I LOVE illustrating! Also, Still searching for a "NAME" for the farm
where my adventures take place. I haven't got that quite figured out. It has to be meaningful - and fit with the overall
characters/themes of the adventures. I was thinking of something funny, but that might now fit with the childrens' series
as much as the "funny blog". Although it could be somewhat "over the readers' heads" so to speak.
I was playing with the idea of a funny name like "De Cilly Stables...hAHAHA. or "Zephany Farm"
Bhahaha!

Getting startedHi everyone! I haven't
quite figured out how to transfer my blog over here, so i'll just write about what's new on this one, and put the
link here from the other blog. I'llkeep my adventure stories "over there". Anyway ~ Making a book is also an adventure. I've done three edits so far, and it's really coming
together. Illustrations are quite fun actually, because the are fast and fresh. I find that I'm getting a new and
different "feel" from my pastels, that I quite like and am enjoying. It reminds me of Linda Shantz "horse a
day" project. I really think the time limit adds a special feel to the piece. I know there are two of Linda's that I LOVE. Anyway, I have about 30 illustrations to do, and I've done 4 so far and am woorking on the 5th. It's
cute. I'm trying to include Tia's funny expressions and use the oblique angles where I can, so keep things interesting,
and use perspective to enhance the story as well. Check
